Revo-Rack is a unique design of Jaguar F Type Convertible Luggage Rack that eliminates the risk of paint damage, caused by steel clamps or straps on the fragile boot/trunk lid edges.

We have been manufacturing the Revo-Rack since 2016 with the choice of two finishes black or PA (polished anodised) which creates a chrome like shine. We only sell direct over the web.

We designed Revo-Rack in 2015. The issue with fitting a conventional metal clamp based luggage rack to a modern convertible trunk lid is the small panel gap - there is no room for a metal clamp.

Revo-Rack attaches to your Jaguar using vacuum cup technology, these are not suction cups. Suction is what creates vacuum. Vacuum is the total absence of air whereas suction is the process done to achieve a vacuum. The grey buttons on the side of the cups pump out the air creating a huge, securing force.

In 2015 Revo-Rack was independently certified by TUV Italy part of the global TUV testing and certification business. It went through speed, braking and force tests, to ISO 11154:2006 Revo-Rack passed all these tests and is certified to carry 20kg/45lbs. Since 2016 we have sold over 10,000 Revo-Racks and never had a failure.

• Not immediately obvious how to release the rack from the boot/trunk lid - Impossible to pull off therefore theft is difficult. Anti theft strap available
• Revo-Rack is not designed for permanent fitting its designed for a days travel and then it needs to be removed overnight as the paint under the cups needs to exposed to the atmosphere.

The Rack Frame :

This F Type luggage rack is manufactured from 1" 6063-T5 tubing this is an aluminium and magnesium alloy ( it will never rust )  As a result the rack frame weighs only 1.672kg / 3.6lb perfect for todays aluminium and composite boot/trunk lids. The cross bars are machine welded in place to ensure consistency. The rack frame measures 900x420mm  /  36"x17"

The Supports :

The rack is secured to your F Types boot/trunk lid using three 5" vacuum cups,  rated by the manufacturer as capable of holding an 18kg/40lb load each.

Vacuum cups employ the force of atmospheric pressure to grip a surface: When a vacuum exists between the cup and the surface on which it is attached, the weight of Earth's atmosphere holds the cup in place with incredible force. Unlike suction cups that produce a vacuum as they pull away from the surface, Revo-Racks vacuum cups use a hand-actuated pump to efficiently remove air from between the rubber pad and the attaching surface thus creating a much more reliable hold. Because the full face of the pad is brought into contact with the boot/trunk lid, distortion is reduced, allowing the cup to be used with very little risk of damage.

The Revo-Racks vacuum cup's pump feature a plunger with a red line, which serves as a vacuum indicator. This safety device is still one of the most reliable warning systems available. A few strokes of the plunger evacuate the vacuum pad, causing it to seal securely to the attaching surface. When the cup is attached completely, the plunger stops moving and the red line is hidden within the pump. A visible red line indicates if air has leaked back into the pad, making vacuum insufficient to use the cup. However, if the red line becomes visible while the cup is in use, a check valve allows the user to re pump the cup without losing the remaining vacuum.

Lifting on the release tab near the edge of the pad allows air to refill the evacuated space, so that the vacuum cup detaches completely. The racks sits 3" off the trunk lid

Please thank your entire team for the exceptionally quick turn-around and expedited shipping to the US!  I feared we would have to use our Toyota Highlander rather than the F-Type Jaguar for our three-week trip to the Canadian Maritimes.  Your terrific response got the revo-rack and bag to me in time!

And what a great combination!

We removed the revo-rack each evening and used a Quick Detailer to clean the areas under the suction cups to remove any “shadow” from the surface.  After three weeks of heavy use, the trunk lid shows no signs of wear.  The revo-rack remained secure even at passing speeds (admittedly above what you recommend).

I picked it up today and it is even better than I dared to hope for... I paired it with a Yakima Rhino Rack ski rack which fits nicely with your Revo-Rack. The Rhino Rack can go longways or latitudinally so it’s a perfect pairing... I had people asking where I got the rack from, so hopefully you get some more orders.
It worked great even in sub-zero temps (I had been a little concerned if it would work in the cold).

The Revo-Rack. What a great piece of kit and I am so glad I made the purchase (despite initial worries). It was so easy to fit, remove and store when not in use (fits perfectly in the boot of the F Type if it’s not too full). It completed the 800 mile round trip on Autoroutes at cruising speed (130kph) and country roads without a problem.

Despite checking the suction cups at regular intervals it never actually needed topping up.

Finally, because we had the Revo-Rack, we were able to fill the somewhat limited space in the boot and various cubby holes with wine and other French goodies. Would highly recommend.
