Revo-Rack specification, dimensions & useage.

• Revo-Rack is manufactured from T5 aluminium and magnesium tuning thats 25mm/1" in diameter. This is a light strong alloy, as a result the frame weighs only 1.74kg / 2.20lbs.

• The rack frame measures 90x42cm. We manufacture the Revo-Rack in either a powder coated black version or a model thats hand polished and anodised. All Revo-Racks are supplied with a cotton storage bag and two luggage straps.

• The standard Revo-Rack 01 & 02 requires a footprint of 103 x 49cm. The Revo-Rack 03 and 04 models manufactured for cars with shallow trunk/boot lids or rear lip spoilers have an additional hole drilled in the first cross rail and this reduces the depth required by 8cm to 35cm  / 14". For some cars we manufacture a specific model so always order the model for your car or consult us prior to purchase.

• The rack is secured using three 120mm/5" vacuum cups, these are extremely powerful and not to be confused with suction cups which are completely different and not the technology used with the Revo-Rack.

• Revo-Rack has been independently safety tested and evaluated by TUV Italy. Part of the global TUV testing and certification group. Please see TUV Sud

• The Revo-Rack was tested too and passed  ISO/PAS11154 : 2006 the international test standard : Road vehicles roof carriers ISO:11154.

• There is no standard for luggage racks. We believe it's the only convertible luggage rack for sale globally that has passed these safety and load tests. It also passed the European Directive for the General Safety 2002/95/CE.

• Revo-Rack is designed for a days travel them removed from the car overnight. The paint under the cups is in a vacuum and needs to be exposed to the atmosphere.

• Revo-Rack is designed to be used on paint it won't secure fully on cars with Paint Protection Film : PPF
