Revo-Rack is a unique design of BMW Z4 E85 trunk luggage rack that virtually eliminates the risk of paint damage, caused by steel clamps or straps on the trunk lid edge. We manufacture the rack in two finishes black powder coated and a hand polished anodised finish which results in a deep shine. We have been making Revo-Rack since 2016
Revo-Rack attaches to your Z4 E85 using vacuum cup technology, these are not suction cups. Suction is what creates vacuum. Vacuum is the total absence of air whereas suction is the process done to achieve a vacuum. The grey buttons on the side of the cups pump out the air creating a huge, securing force.The Z4 E85 requires two additional multi directional stainless steel joints due to the shape of the trunk lid, these allow the vacuum cups to curve to the shape of the trunk lid and ensure a secure fit.
In 2015 Revo-rack was independently certified by TUV Italy part of the global TUV testing and certification business. It went through speed, braking and force tests, to ISO 11154:2006 Revo-Rack passed all these tests and is certified to carry 20kg/45lbs. Since 2016 we have sold over 10,000 Revo-Racks and never had a failure.

The Rack Frame :
This BMW Z4 E85 Trunk Luggage rack is manufactured from 1" 6063-T5 tubing this is an aluminium and magnesium alloy ( it will never rust ) As a result the rack frame weighs only 3.6lb perfect for todays aluminium and composite trunk lids. The cross bars are machine welded in place to ensure consistency. The Revo-Rack frame measures 36"x17"
Vacuum Cups :
Revo-Rack is secured to your Z4 using three 5"/120mm vacuum cups. These are rated by the manufacturer as capable of holding an 18kg/40lb load each. These are not suction cups.
Vacuum cups employ the force of atmospheric pressure to grip a surface: These are not suction cups. Suction is what creates vacuum. Vacuum is the total absence of air whereas suction is the process done to achieve a vacuum. The grey buttons on the side of the cups pump the air out from the cup creating a huge securing force.When a vacuum exists between the cup and the surface on which it is attached, the weight of Earth's atmosphere holds the cup in place with incredible force. Unlike suction cups that produce a vacuum as they pull away from the surface, Revo-Racks vacuum cups use a hand-actuated pump to efficiently remove air from between the rubber pad and the attaching surface thus creating a much more secure hold.
The Revo-Racks vacuum cup's pump feature a pump button with a red line, which serves as a vacuum indicator. Introduced in the1960's, this safety device is still recognized as one of the most reliable warning systems available. A few strokes of the pump evacuate the vacuum pad, causing it to seal securely to the car. When the cup is attached completely, the plunger stops moving and the red line is hidden within the pump. A visible red line indicates if air has leaked back into the pad, making vacuum insufficient to use the cup. However, if the red line becomes visible while the cup is in use, a check valve allows you to re pump the cup without losing the remaining vacuum.
Lifting on the release tab near the edge of the pad allows air to refill the evacuated space, so that the vacuum cup detaches completely. Revo-Rack sits 7.5cm / 3" off the trunk lid
